« The Gods and the Gang »: Back on their own Earth, the Avengers battle hundreds of Roxxon/Brand troops. Learning that the Squadron Supreme has turned against the Serpent Crown’s representatives on their homeworld, Hugh Jones unleashes a secret weapon that fells all six heroes with one blow. The newly returned Thor and Moondragon arrive to face it: the Sub-Mariner’s foe Orka the Human Killer Whale, his size and strength tripled by Brand’s technology. Moondragon falls, and Thor brings his full power to bear to defeat Orka alone. Hellcat has already broken her bonds and forced her ex-husband to free the others, and the Avengers return home to choose a new roster.
