« The Trial »: The Vision, the Scarlet Witch, the Beast, the Black Panther and Wonder Man enter the mansion to find the Grim Reaper. Even after learning that his brother Wonder Man, whose death he blames on them, is alive again, the Reaper knocks out all five heroes. They awaken in a bizarre trial in which the Reaper tries to determine whether Wonder Man or the Vision is truly his brother, intending to eliminate the impostor. Both recount their origins, and Wonder Man reveals he has become a superhuman form whose eyes glow with energy. The Vision declares himself a separate being from Simon Williams, and Wonder Man battles on until his brother lies beaten.
