« There’s No Place Like Home »: Awakened by a psychic distress call from Magik, Shadowcat and the X-Men learn that Storm and the New Mutants have been taken to Asgard, and travel there using Arkon’s lightning bolts. Loki has ensorcelled Storm and plans to crown her Asgard’s new thunder god with a hammer similar to Thor’s. The X-Men find the New Mutants greatly changed and disrupt the coronation; when Wolverine is nearly killed, Storm snaps out of the spell, battles Hela for his soul and destroys the hammer. Threatened with exposure to Odin, Loki agrees to send them home. The Valkyrior let Mirage keep her new winged steed, Brightwind, and Loki teleports everyone to Professor X.
