Uncanny X-Men #405

« Ballroom Blitzkrieg »: Returning to find their aircraft missing, Banshee finally admits he’s been using Mastermind’s telepathy to control the villains on his roster, just as Multiple Man begins acting strangely. Husk and Jubilee find Sunpyre dead, and Fever Pitch gloats that the freed villains are attacking Paris with stolen X-Corps gunships and mind-controlled Multiple Man duplicates. Nightcrawler finds Chamber aboard a rigged X-Wing that explodes before he can escape. With no trace of either in the wreckage, Archangel and Multiple Man arm themselves as Stacy X wakes enraged, and Banshee’s attempt to sever Mastermind’s control is cut short when a duplicate reveals itself as Mystique and slits his throat.
