A trip to the Massachusetts Academy turns disastrous for Kitty Pryde and Doug Ramsey. Xavier enjoys his newfound ability to walk and spends his time working out, but his peace is soon disrupted by the mysterious probing force that has been haunting him. Storm joins him, sharing her own unease about the changes she’s undergone. Later, she visits the city botanical gardens and stops a robbery in progress, only to be hurt when the victims react with more fear toward her than toward the criminals. Meanwhile, Kitty Pryde spends time with her friend Doug Ramsey, confiding her worries about Storm’s transformation. Doug invites her to visit the Massachusetts Academy with him.…
