Captain Marvel’s leadership is constantly challenged by Dr. Druid’s subtle attempts at one-upmanship as the Avengers split up to cover their foe’s possible targets. While the team chairman confirms that the robot known as the Doomsday Man has been destroyed, the Super-Adaptoid and his followers add the formidable TESS-One to their ranks, despite the efforts of Dr. Druid and the Black Knight.
