« And We Battle for the Earth »: The Vision smashes Ultron’s machinery and thwarts his plans, but the robot escapes again. Deducing that the molecular rearranger is built into Ultron’s new body, the Avengers obtain vibranium from the Black Panther in Wakanda and have Dr. MacLain address the United Nations as bait. Ultron smashes into the General Assembly, battles Thor, Goliath and the Wasp to a standstill, and probes MacLain’s mind, only to be convulsed by his thoughts and begin to self-destruct. Thor contains him in a vibranium shield, so only Ultron is destroyed, and MacLain is revealed as a disguised, hypnotized Hank Pym.
