Uncanny X-Men #473

« Family Lies! – the First Foursaken, Part 2 of 3 »: Fleeing government troops, Nightcrawler’s teleport is redirected by Jamie Braddock’s lingering influence to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Psylocke explains that « the Foursaken » were Jamie’s four closest school friends, three of whom vanished during a Saharan car race around the same time her brother went mad. A returning Watcher warns of the First Fallen, opposite number to the Phoenix Force, as soul-stealing salamander creatures erupt from the museum and the now-superpowered Foursaken capture the entire team except the mysteriously invisible Psylocke. As the villains begin a ritual to summon their master, Psylocke destroys their vessel of stolen souls, reversing the portal and sucking everyone present into the vortex.
