« She Lies With Angels, Part 4 of 5 »: Archangel confesses to Lucinda Guthrie that he’s been pushing Husk away out of guilt and fear of losing her, and Husk, having overheard, confronts him, the two finally kissing and flying off together. Enraged to catch Julia with Josh, Chester Cabot knocks her unconscious, then shoots Josh through the chest, drawing Wolverine and Polaris to investigate. Lucinda reveals her relationship with Ray Sr. to Nightcrawler as she gathers her family to flee, and when Sheriff Pete arrives to warn her of the Cabots’ attack, he’s enraged to find her with a black man and draws his gun, only for Nightcrawler to disarm him as the armored Cabots close in.
