Uncanny X-Men #410

« Hope »: Bullied mutant Sammy Pare debates bringing a hidden gun to school until Professor X unexpectedly offers him a place at the Xavier Institute, which he happily accepts. Meanwhile the X-Men race across the ocean toward an unexplained distress call, and Stacy X and M’s squabble turns urgent when fireballs down their plane, forcing Stacy and Archangel to risk their lives saving each other. Sammy hands over his gun to Xavier, who then loses contact with most of the team — reaching only Stacy, who reports Wolverine impaled and Archangel not breathing. As she and Nightcrawler perform CPR under Xavier’s guidance, Nightcrawler sees the Juggernaut looming toward them.
