Uncanny X-Men #304

« …For What I Have Done »: Exodus exposes Fabian Cortez’s treachery to the Acolytes, who turn on him. Professor X, still blaming himself for Illyana’s death, is consoled in vain by Lilandra, while Shadowcat tries to reach an emotionally shut-down Colossus. At Illyana’s funeral, attended by multiple X-teams, Colossus rebuffs Professor X’s attempt to speak with him. Magneto and the Acolytes arrive, offering everyone refuge on his new station Avalon, and freeze the mourners — but Bishop, whose power unconsciously absorbs Magneto’s energy, breaks free and channels the group’s combined might into an attack. Colossus unexpectedly turns on his teammates instead, joining the Acolytes out of guilt over his sister’s death, but Professor X psychically seizes Magneto’s powers and hurls both him and Avalon into space.
