Uncanny X-Men #201

« Duel »: As the team celebrates Cyclops and Madelyne’s new baby, Madelyne confides to Storm her growing worry over her husband’s emotional distance, while Cyclops frets over Magneto’s presence among the X-Men. In deep space, a recovering Professor X learns the damaged Starjammer may never make it home. Back on Earth, Cyclops and Madelyne argue over his prioritizing the team, and when he insists a depowered Storm can’t lead without him, she challenges him to a leadership duel in the Danger Room — and wins decisively, leaving a humbled Cyclops questioning his place at the mansion. Elsewhere, the spirit of Phoenix returns to the Grey household to embed her own essence beside her mother’s memory. Key issue: First appearance of Nathan Christopher Charles Summers (Scott and Madelyne’s infant son); Cyclops leaves the X-Men after Danger Room duel with Storm.
