Dans ce numéro

« First Blood »: Still reeling from Corsair’s revelation, the X-Men are beamed aboard a Shi’ar ship, where Araki explains Lilandra’s kidnapping and gives them 24 hours to find her before Earth faces punishment. Leaving Nightcrawler and Kitty behind as collateral, the team seeks the Avengers’ help but finds only newcomer Tigra, and is soon attacked by the exiled Shi’ar Deathbird and the alien Brood. Though they defeat the Brood swiftly, Deathbird kidnaps Professor X and collapses a building on the team as she escapes. Digging themselves free, the X-Men find Colossus gravely wounded just as police arrive to arrest them. Key issue: First appearance of the Brood.
