« Where Dwell the Demons! »: When Sif goes missing during a mission on Earth, Thor investigates and uncovers something that disturbs him greatly: an atomic research site has been infiltrated by mutated beings. He wonders whether Lady Sif’s disappearance is connected to the strange event, and Pluto, the Roman god of Death, enters the story. Odin also appears, and Adam Warlock is seen in his cocoon. The story continues from Fantastic Four #67 and introduces the Mutates and the Keeper of the Antiquities of Asgard. Key issue: First appearance of the Mutates; Adam Warlock cameo (in cocoon, not named).
