Dans ce numéro

« Superman Breaks Loose »: A scientific experiment turns all the kryptonite on Earth to iron, as Clark Kent moves from newspaper to television journalism. Denny O’Neil writes, with Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson on art; the notes say the Julius Schwartz era begins here. Morgan Edge, Professor Bolden and a sand creature appear. Also: the Krypton backup « Jor-El’s Golden Folly », where Jor-El’s test rocket crashes on the moon Wegthor, and a Super-Turtle gag strip. Key issue: Julius Schwartz’s first issue as editor, with a Denny O’Neil and Curt Swan story in which all kryptonite on Earth is changed to iron, a Neal Adams cover, and the debut of the sand creature Quarrmer.
