« Luthor — Super-Hero! »: a two-part story in which Lex Luthor appears as the Defender, with Superman, Ardora and the Lexorians of Lexor involved. Part II is titled « Lex Luthor, Daily Planet Editor! ». The Metropolis Mailbag pays tribute to the recently assassinated President Kennedy with a New York Times comic panel dated August 30, 1963, showing Superman meeting the President about his Physical Fitness Program. A Tricksy gag strip is also included.
