Once the smoke clears from Cap’s battle with Hyrdra, his bullet-ridden uniform is pulled out of the water. Is Captain America dead? This issue begins with the Police pulling Cap’s costume from the water, along with a mask of Steve Rogers face!! A call is placed to Iron Man and he is asked to make final arrangements for Captain America…who is presumed dead! As he goes to close Cap’s Avengers file, Iron Man reviews some of Cap’s past battles.
