« Shadow of the Claw »: Dr. Liu, the Yellow Claw’s assistant, is killed by remote control at Avengers Mansion after uttering coordinates in the Australian desert. Having deduced that the villain altered his circuitry to monitor the team, the Vision stays behind and goes alone to the Claw’s island base, while his teammates fly to Australia and face three powerful cyborgs. The Claw recaptures the Vision and plans to sterilize Earth’s population with a vapor and repopulate the world under his successor. The captive Vision increases his density to the maximum, crashing the Claw’s spaceship into the ocean. The Vision survives, but the Avengers find no trace of the Yellow Claw.
