Avengers #196

« The Terrible Toll of the Taskmaster »: The captive Yellowjacket, Wasp, and Ant-Man watch the Taskmaster dispatch his own armed henchmen using photographic reflexes, an ability to duplicate any physical action after seeing it once, which he has used to mimic Captain America, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Hawkeye, and Iron Fist. He has run a series of criminal training academies, until Dr. Solomon’s private plans involved the Avengers. Solomon is dealt with fatally, and the Avengers smash through a wall. Selbe frees the captives, and the Taskmaster holds his own until he faces Jocasta, whose powers he does not know. Blinding the heroes with a magnesium flare, he escapes in his aircraft.
