« I, Monster! »: Initially panicked like his partner Synch, Spider-Man finds the strength to confront the Plantman and battle his Banyan root creatures, giving Synch time to calm down and escape. As the two heroes attack together, Spidey demands the antidote to their condition and finally exposes the uncooperative Plantman to his own mutagenic pollen, turning him into a human plant. Plantman then produces the antidote to save himself. Spidey and Synch both take the antidote, with Synch waiting for Generation X to pick up the Plantman before giving him the cure.
