Superman is currently lost in the Phantom Zone due to General Zod and an army of Kryptonians. Jonathan and Martha Kent are worried about their lost son and the odds of him actually defeating the army. Jonathan reassures Martha that Clark has faced all odds already. He proceeds to tell Martha about a time when Clark faced overwheming odds that she was unaware of. Johnathan and Clark had lied to Martha saying that they were going ice fishing.
