“THE COURTSHIP OF ADELBERT DRIBBLE.” Adelbert Dribble traps Superman in order to pose as him and win the affections of his one, true love…but he gets more than he bargained for! Superman: When Superman answers an appeal for help published in the want-ads of the Daily Planet, he ends up at the home of eccentric Adelbert Dribble. Dribble lures Superman into a rubber room which he seems unable to break out of, since the walls merely bounce under the impact of his fists. With Superman out of the way, Dribble dons a Superman suit himself and with the aid of a propellor, flies off. Dribble’s plan is to win the admiration of Bertha Bigge by pretending to be Superman.…
