« The Man with the Charmed Life »: (Superman) A racketeer arranges for the witness against him to be miraculously saved from death a few times so he will believe a ring he found is magic and will protect him from all harm. He quits his accounting job and becomes a daredevil, leading superman to save him again and again. in a rare case of the cover actually depicting something from the story, at one point Lois asks to try the ring on and the gangsters shoot her with blanks to further convince the witness the magic is real.…
