Dans ce numéro

« The Monarch and the Man-Ape »: The Avengers and the Black Knight are honored guests in the Black Panther’s African kingdom of Wakanda. Secretly plotting to usurp the throne, the regent M’Baku drugs the heroes’ meal, then challenges T’Challa wearing the forbidden guise of the white gorilla. With superhuman strength, he calls himself the Man-Ape. The two battle through the technological wonderland beneath the hidden kingdom until the Man-Ape wins through treachery and binds the Panther beneath the Wakandans’ giant panther idol. When M’Baku tries to topple it, the idol crumbles and buries him instead, and the revived Avengers free the Panther.
