« Beauty & the Beast, Part One: Broken Mirrors »: Marrow wakes from a nightmare about her old dimension to find Colossus painting, and the two travel to a Boston museum housing a portrait of his late sister Illyana, which guards say is haunted by his brother Mikhail’s ghost. After finally mastering her image inducer, Marrow flees in shame when a flirtatious artist causes her to lose control of her bone growths, though Colossus remains proud of her. Elsewhere, Deathbird delivers the Living Monolith’s body to his cult. Suddenly a portal opens beneath Colossus and Marrow, pulling them into Mikhail’s dimension, where he confronts Peter with a plan to use their combined power to resurrect Illyana.
