WONDER WOMAN (1987) #223

Wonder Woman is confined in her quarters in Hague after the attack from Cheetah. On TV however, OMACs are attacking the Amazons and she has no choice but to help her fellow sisters. Racheal Keast pleads with her not to go, as this would certainly ruin her reputation, but Wonder Woman still goes. Amazons are killed left and right when Io comes in with her weapon. Wonder Woman prevents Artemis from being killed and draws all the attention of the OMACs to Wonder Woman while Io brings out her weapon. Artemis is about to use the weapon, while Diana is seemingly overwhelmed by hundreds of OMACs.
