When the X-Men arrive in Japan they find that the city Agarashima is ablaze by a great firestorm caused by an unnatural earthquake. The X-Men had been rescued by a Japanese ship after leaving Savage Land. They make their way to Japan, where they found spots of fire and earthquakes. They must aid old acquaintance Sunfire against the villainous Moses Magnum , who is threatening to sink Japan with his powers. Misty Knight and Colleen Wing are also in Japan trying to help.
