DEFENDERS (1972) #91

The Defenders find out the extent of Mandrill’s (explosive) plans, and the timing couldn’t get any worse. The Mandrill has taken control of Valkyrie and escaped a courthouse. The Defenders try to explain, but the judge is also under the Mandrill’s sway, and almost locks the rest of the Defenders up. They all run off and try different strategies to find him. He plots a takeover of a nuclear power plant with Valkyrie and an army of his mentally-controlled Fem-Force, but Daredevil is listening in, and follows them to the plant.
