The Wrecking Crew hoped to find a gamma bomb in the wreckage of a building, but it is not in its shell. Thunderball explains his origin: he was a brilliant physicist who improved on Bruce Banner’s gamma bomb, shrinking it to the size of a fist. However, he discovered that the company he worked for–Richmond Enterprises–owned his work. He stole it back, but in the process dropped it in some steel that Richmond Enterprises used to make some buildings. That’s what led them here.…
