Marlene and Scarlet both fear he is dead. While drowning, Marc sees visions of Khonshu, his father and his brother Randall, and follows a beam of light to the surface. It is the Mooncopter, with Marlene and Frenchie coming to rescue him. Scarlet arrives by boat too late, angry at God for tormenting her. Third part of the Scarlet Redemption arc.
