New Teen Titans Drug Awareness Special #1 - Keebler

« Plague! »: Speedy and the New Teen Titans join forces with a new young hero, the Protector, to break up a gang of drug smugglers. In the gang’s warehouse laboratory they find a teenager dying of an overdose, and despite their efforts he cannot be saved. Raven senses his drug-using friends, including his sister Anna, but they refuse help, even after Speedy recounts his own past as an addict. A lead from young Teddy O’Hara, whose sister Debbie is in detox, lets the Titans and the Protector take down the drug ring, and Anna and her friends finally enter a hospital program to quit. Keebler-sponsored giveaway edition for the President’s Drug Awareness Program; first appearance of the Protector.
