New Teen Titans Annual #1

« Final Conflict! »: Starfire recovers and attacks her sister, sparking a new skirmish until Lord Damyn’s Psion advisor seizes control of the Citadel forces and pits Starfire against Blackfire in a duel to the death, secretly planning a double-cross. Aboard the Omega Men’s ship, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, and Raven learn the origin of X’Hal from Primus and Kalista: a great warrior turned ruler, killed by Psions and revived as a powerful battle goddess of pure energy. The duel results in Blackfire’s seeming demise but triggers explosions meant to wipe out the Vegan system, until X’Hal breaks free and detonates them harmlessly. Raven heals Starfire, who briefly reunites with her parents and brother before returning to Earth.
