Dans ce numéro

« Rifts »: The X-Men help the former Gene Nation, resettled in an African village on Storm’s orders, beat back Humanity’s Last Stand troops, and D’Gard and the refugees chastise Storm for her absence. Havok’s Brotherhood teleports in offering protection, and Dark Beast is disgusted at how low Gene Nation has fallen. Storm fights her claustrophobia to dig out buried refugees, Dark Beast’s override device takes over the HLS armor, and Boost helps Storm create a sandstorm that knocks the troops out. Dark Beast seemingly blasts them to atoms, though Fatale secretly teleports them away for his experiments. The Brotherhood departs, and D’Gard proclaims himself the refugees’ new leader.
