« Cardinal Betrayal: Chasing Hellfire! Part 2 of 3 »: Bishop explains he was cleansing the team of sewer nanites, and suspecting Sebastian Shaw laid the trap, he and Storm track him down. In Hong Kong, Emma’s card game with Ross ends in a draw as Marvel Girl draws a telepath’s suspicion, only to be saved by the disguised Red Lotus, working with Ross and Viper to dismantle the slave ring. Nightcrawler and Wolverine puzzle over their tangled feelings for Marvel Girl and Storm before finding Bishop and Storm ambushed at Paris’s Hellfire Club alongside Sage, Shaw and the Club’s surprising new Black King, Sunspot, all suddenly captured by the true mastermind, Donald Pierce.
