Uncanny X-Men #427

« The Dead Have No Rights »: At Skin’s grave, Jubilee regrets rejecting his last invitation as gravediggers arrive to exhume his mutant body, prompting Husk to physically block them while Jubilee confronts the cemetery’s management. Meanwhile Archangel visits a children’s hospital to test the limits of his healing blood, ultimately curing twelve kids, including, ironically, the cemetery manager’s own daughter. Jubilee learns the cemetery has a legal right to refuse mutant burials on religious grounds, and after a gravedigger turned mutant is exposed and fired, Skin’s body is cremated and his ashes handed over in an urn, closing out a bitter lesson on prejudice extending even to the dead.
