Part I, « Jor-El II and Kal-El II! », centers on Superman’s two sons; in Part II, « The New Nightwing and Flamebird! », they become Nightwing II and Flamebird II; and in Part III, « Kal-El II’s Mission to Krypton! », Kal-El II travels to Krypton. Gann Artar, an escaped Phantom Zone villain, is among the characters, and statues of Zan Zarn and Mrn Abbas figure in Part II.
