MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS (1988) #82

Logan confronts Professor Thorton, Doctor Cornelius and Carol Hines. The Professor wants to him shot, but Cornelius is reluctant, saying that Logan is too weak to continue. The Professor hits Cornelius, and his rifle lets off several rounds into Logan. Cornelius than approaches him to check on his condition before shooting the receivers, and he pays the price.
