Most characters have cameo appearances. The Mr. Miracle story is divided into two halves. The upper half of the page is Mr. Miracle’s story and the bottom half of the page is Oberon’s story. In the Ice story, the character Rod Schoendienst makes a reference to reading Marvel Comics (concerning the Scandinavian legends). The covers from issues 33-35 form a panorama.
