Reuben discovers the cache of bogus Mananacillin he seized is engineered to kill a human’s immune system. After saving Sam Louis from a lynch mob, the case bursts wide open and the Pan African League is implicated in a plot to kill off the population of the United States. Reuben closes up the case and heads home to Chicago, where a political snakepit awaits.
