« In the Beginning… »: Keating and his SWAT team find Spidey unconscious at the Expo; coming to, he grabs Keating’s walkie-talkie and follows the Vulture. Anna and Mary Jane Watson return from Florida to Penn Station. Hearing that police helicopters spotted the Vulture carrying Bestman towards Staten Island, Spidey hitches a ride on a chopper and uses a web-parachute to land near the Vulture’s silo hideout, where he overhears the Vulture remind Bestman of their past. The Vulture tosses Bestman out the window; Spidey rescues him, then captures the Vulture by ripping off his power pack. Keating, having overheard Bestman’s embezzling over the walkie-talkie, arrests both. Amy Powell finally catches up with Peter for coffee as a jealous Lance Bannon watches. Key issue: Origin of the Vulture (Adrian Toomes).
