« Interruptions »: Spidey asks Nose Norton about the Hobgoblin and plants a tracer on him when he acts suspicious. Peter has lunch with Aunt May, Anna Watson, Nathan Lubensky and Mary Jane, then tails Nose to Brooklyn, where he sells his special package to Doc and his gang. Spidey almost has the crew wrapped up when Frog-Man, desperately trying to become a super hero, interrupts and lets the crooks get away. A map in Peter’s film leads him to Long Island, where the gang uses an energy-beam weapon from the package to abduct an armored car. Inside, Doc finds the Wrecker’s crowbar and Thunderball’s ball and chain, then beats his angry gang. Spidey arrives to see Doc is actually Thunderball.
