« Caught in the Act… »: The Cobra steals jewels from a precinct properties room and escapes to a Central Park West apartment he got by blackmail. Peter tries on one of his two new Spidey suits. At the site where the Juggernaut was entombed, a hulking figure vows revenge. JJJ has Ned Leeds investigate the Brand Corporation over Killer Shrike’s kidnapping of Marla Madison. A worried Betty calls Peter, who goes to Maxie’s Bar, where the Cobra is attacking Ned, Marla and informant Nose Norton. Ned’s tape recorder stops the Cobra’s venom darts, and Spidey captures the Cobra. On the way to the police, Spidey sprains his ankle evading the hulking figure: Mr. Hyde, demanding his traitorous former partner.
